Background
A company providing services to the mining industry faced a critical operational challenge: the manual review of documents to authorize personnel access to operational areas.
That process included verifying documents such as IDs, driver’s licenses, machinery operating permits, employment contracts and medical certificates, among others.
Because of the volume and variety of the documents, accrediting each person could take up to 9 business days, affecting the efficiency of daily operations and causing project delays.
